Jack proposed to Gabriella on July 12, 2022 during their trip to Europe and the French Riviera. Gabriella had told Jack about a beautiful museum and venue in Cap Ferrat, Villa Ephrussi, that she wanted to visit with him and take a tour of the gardens together while they were in town. Jack thought this would be the perfect place to propose!

He knew that Gabriella, being notoriously difficult to surprise, would be a challenge to get to dress up and go to a nice location without giving away the plan. Jack reached out separately to the venue, convinced them to respond back directly on the email thread, cancelling the tour Gabriella organized and saying they could only accommodate the next day at a cocktail attire event which they were welcome to join. Jack organized incredible flowers, fireworks, a violinist and photographer to make it the most special moment.

Jack and Gabriella toured the venue and at the very end they were escorted to a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea where Jack got down on one knee and asked Gabriella to marry him. She was surprised and very happily said yes!
